We were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend - a regular at the restaurant Emma worked at and a coworker of Kevin's. We met at Emporium arcade bar and to no surprise since Kevin isn't competitive at all, Kevin beat Emma in nearly every game. The next couple of dates, Kevin really pulled out all the stops with a date to a Cubs playoff game and glass tickets to a Blackhawks game. Don't worry, the dates were all downhill after that ;). It wasn't long before Kevin introduced Emma to the lake - the real deal initiation into the Rourke family. Thankfully she liked it, or we probably wouldn't be here today. We took our first of many trips together including Austin, Miami, Whistler, Breckenridge, and San Diego, just to name a few. The past five years have been filled with adventure - skydiving, hiking, trying new restaurants & bars, concerts, snowmobiling, and skiing - and now we are headed into our biggest adventure yet!
